The Band

Born in Southampton, Kurt grew up listening to alternative rock, post-punk and electronic music. After studying English Literature at the University of Sussex, he spent several years writing songs and recording demos before forming Static Faults. His lyrics often draw on themes of memory, place and modern disconnection

Originally from Portsmouth, Evelyn studied Music Technology at the University of Surrey. Her background in both performance and production helped shape her approach to bass, favouring melody and atmosphere over traditional rock playing. She joined Static Faults shortly after its formation.

Theo grew up near Winchester and studied Creative Music Technology at Bath Spa University. Fascinated by effects pedals, synthesisers and sound design, he became known for building layered guitar textures that sit somewhere between alternative rock and ambient music.

Born in Cork, Ireland, Rowan moved to Brighton to study Contemporary Music Performance at BIMM. Growing up on a mix of Irish folk, indie rock and alternative music, he developed a style that favours groove, dynamics and unconventional rhythms over technical showmanship. He became involved in several South Coast music projects before joining Static Faults.
